Circumstances are largely unchanged since the last update, albeit that, with it now School Holidays in Queensland, there has been a slight increase in numbers travelling

The border between Queensland and NSW has been closed since 1AM Saturday 8th August.

From 1AM on 25th September the ACT is no longer considered a COVID-19 hotspot (although the adjoining 'suburbs' of Queenbeyan and Yass are!). As yet there are no CBR/CNS flights.

The Queensland government has given no indication of an opening date nor any parameters that will govern the opening decision.

Pleasingly, the number of intrastate flights is steadily increasing and the Brisbane/Cairns route is now Qantas' busiest Australian route.  With ACT now opened to ACT numbers are expected to increase through Brisbane. However, the number of sheduled flights is unchanged.
